Yahoo and Zimbra – good people | July 25, 2008

I haven’t been able to access Yahoo mail properly for months. It’s because of the modem connection. GPRS works fine, but dialup is too slow. So, I wanted my to read Yahoo mail from POP3. No avail. Gotta pay $30 for Mail Plus 😦

Then comes Zimbra, and I have my hopes up… The features list says you need Yahoo Mail Plus to use it, so I say “What a drag, what a nuisance, what a stupid approach”. Turns out you don’t need Mail Plus. I apologize. Now I’m downloading Zimbra desktop. Gonna share feelings after the test. Only after testing it.

Um…no….it’s the exact opposite of what you stated. Zimbra Desktop does *not* require Yahoo Mail Plus — *any* Yahoo user can access their Yahoo Mail through Zimbra Desktop.

So will you retract your comment about “greedy people” ?
